We are an end to end solution for your short term let in Edinburgh. Quirky Apartments provides short term accomodation solutions through partnership with insurance relocation specilist agents and Online Travel Agent platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.

We currently operate in Edinburgh, Scotland but are always happy to extend coverage to new cities (city centres) so please do get in touch.

Wifi is essential but don’t worry; we can provide this if necessary.

 

Furniture suitable for short stay rental is essential but don’t worry; we can provide this if necessary.

We manage the whole process from start to finish as a ‘hands off’ approach for investors and landlords. Monthly statements and reporting are provided and the performance of your short let is constantly reviewed to identify trends and opportunities.

We can only assist where an entire property is to be used for the purpose of short term letting. Single rooms within a property are not suitable.

15% of the total booking fee plus the cleaning fee. We also charge an initial onboarding fee of £250 (this is deducted from your first month’s revenue, so there are no upfront payments).

If you are lucky enough to have more than one home, then absolutely. And we would be happy to manage as many listings as you wish to create.

No.  Sometimes, there are quiet periods (not very often, but sometimes!) and if your property does not get booked, we will not charge you.

 

Once you’ve booked our services, you can relax, we will take over and handle all booking enquires and requests. We will vet the guest and ensure that only verified guests and those with good reviews can book. It’s important to know who’s staying in your home.

We take care of all communication for you. We will liaise with the guest on your behalf: co-ordinating the check-in, check-out time and any questions they have.

Ideally, we need 4 sets of keys.

We will arrange a suitable time to come and collect the keys from you.

We will provide all necessary bed linen and towels. These are of hotel standard through our professional laundry and linen partner.

Absolutely. As soon as one guest leaves we aim to have another in on the same day. Our housekeeping team will make sure your place is spotless between check out and check in!

The key here is the word ‘guarantee’. This is not the same as insurance. On their website, Airbnb strongly encourage hosts to purchase separate insurance that will cover you and your property for damage or losses caused by a guest.

 

Your domestic household policy is unlikely to cover you for loss/damage directly attributable to a paying guest.

Bigger living spaces and well-equipped kitchens, serviced apartments offer so much more flexibility and privacy than a hotel. Not only this, they offer, on average, 30% savings to comparable hotel rooms.

Not necessarily, many of our corporate short stay guests staying in the city centre arriving by air and train do not require an apartment with parking.
